Applying to The Meridian School is simple. We'll assist you through all steps and ensure that the process goes smoothly for you.

Application Process:

Request Information

  1. Contact the school to arrange a tour and request a brochure. Call Ted Holmes, our Director of Admission at 206-632-7154 or reach him by email at tholmes@meridianschool.edu.
  2. Submit an application (PDF 292K). You may fill out your application within the PDF, but must print it out and mail it to us along with your application fee. You may also contact the admissions office for our application materials.
  3. Submit a student evaluation form from your child's current teacher (if your child is not in a preschool program, we will accept an evaluation from a daycare provider or a nanny). Form for Kindergarten (PDF 92K), form for Grades 1-5 (PDF 288K). This form can also be completed within the PDF and printed.
  4. Request Financial Aid information or apply online, if needed.
  5. Join us for a prospective parent coffee.
  6. Participate in a parent interview.
  7. Bring your child to school for an observation visit.

Meridian School accepts applications for Kindergarten through the fifth grade. Children must be 5 years old by September 1 to be eligible for Kindergarten.

Our tuition for the 2010-11 school year is $16,450.
