Support for new families

New Family Ice Cream Social: On Thursday, April 28, 2011, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. we will host an ice cream social for new families, current families and teachers to meet each other. This is an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the Meridian School community. Bring the kids!

Buddy Families: All families new to Meridian will be assigned a "Buddy Family". A buddy family is a current Meridian family with a child either in your child's incoming class or, in the case of incoming kindergartners, the grade above. These families will introduce you to Meridian life and answer all your questions about entering the Meridian community. We encourage our buddy families to get their children together for play dates so that our newcomers have some familiar faces when the first day of school comes around.
