Integrity, compassion, and responsibility are essential to the mission of Meridian. Students are guided toward self-discipline and thoughtful decisions, mindful of both themselves and the community.

By prompting a kind, courteous, and emotionally safe atmosphere in which to grow, we help students develop a postive self-image and confidents attitude toward learning.

Meridian teachers follow the award-winning Second Step Program to help students develop social skills to handle conflict safely and maturely. In the upper grades, teachers hold weekly class meetings where students resolve conflicts and discuss issues. All staff members maintain an open-door policy for meetings with parents, students, and other community members.
