Extended Day

The Meridian School offers an excellent before-and-after-school program for Meridian students requiring child care. The program provides quality, well-trained supervision, and a variety of active and quiet activity options in an environment more social and less structured than the school day. The program also offers study hall to catch up on homework. In addition, our students are always offered a nutritious morning and afternoon snack. The extended day program runs from 7:00 to 8:45AM and from 3:00 to 6:00PM.

Enrichment classes are an important component of the Extended Day program. These classes provide students the opportunity to explore a topic/activity in more depth while having fun. All Meridian School students are invited to participate in the Enrichment classes offered as part of the Extended Day program.

In our attempt to make the Enrichment classes more affordable to as many as possible, we are establishing a new fee structure for intermittent attendance in the Extended Day Enrichment Classes. This will allow those that come to Extended Day solely for the Enrichment classes to pay a reduced Intermittent rate. These fees are not related to the Enrichment Class fees. The Enrichment class instructors (Meridian and non-Meridian teachers) set the class fees to cover their time and supplies directly used for their classes.
