How to Apply
The Meridian School Admission Process
Getting to know the school:
- Tour the school.
- Attend the Open House on December 1, 2011, 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Good Shepherd Center South Annex Gym.
- Attend one of or Prospective Parent Coffees on either Thursday, January 12, 2012 or Wednesday, January 25, 9:00-10:00 a.m.
Applying to the school:
- Complete our online application by January 12, 2012.
- Submit $65 application fee online along with your application
- Deliver a Student Evaluation Form to your child’s current teacher and have them mail it to us independently. This form is also available on our “apply online” page.
- Deliver the Permission to Request Student Records to your child’s school office (Applicants for grades 1-5). Also available on our “Apply Online” page.
- Sign up for your 20 minute prospective parent interview and your child’s visit (a link to our signup will be sent to you upon receipt of your online application and application fee)
- Kindergarten applicants will visit for 90 minutes on Saturday, February 25 or Saturday, March 3, 2012.
- 1st grade candidates will visit for 90 minutes on Saturday, March 3.
- 2nd grade candidates will visit our current first grade class for a half day, chosen from a selection of dates in February.
- 3rd-5th Grade candidates will visit their current grade level class for a full day, chosen from a selection of dates in February.
- If you are interested in applying for financial aid, apply via or financial aid webpage before February 17.
Our decision:
- We will inform you of our decision on March 15, 2012.
- Enrollment contracts indicating your decision to enroll your child are due on Monday, March 26.
