After working as a kindergarten teacher at Meridian from 2014 to 2020, Sean Carroll transitioned to The Bush School, where he served as the K-2 Lower School Department Chair and Kindergarten teacher. He was thrilled to return to Meridian as the Assistant Head of School in 2024.
Sean’s contributions to Meridian have been significant, particularly in the areas of anti-bias education, project-based learning, and global citizenship. His leadership in co-designing the Global Citizens framework and K-5 global competency guidelines and his involvement in developing the Anti-Bias Framework and implementing the United Nations Goals for Sustainable Development underscore his commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-centered learning.
