Kris began her library career with preschool storytimes at the small public libraries of South Whidbey Island. After earning a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Washington, she went on to enrich the library systems of Pierce County and King County. Before joining Meridian in 2024, Kris had spent four years as the school librarian at Hamlin Robinson School, where she honed her skills in connecting kids with the perfect book and resource at just the right moment.
Kris is eager to inspire and support our students’ reading journeys. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys walks in the woods with her kids and ferry rides with popcorn, always with a book in hand.
