Amy Fox

-B.A. in Global Studies from the University of Washington
-Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Seattle Central College
-With The Meridian School since 2019

Originally from Florida, Amy moved to Seattle in 2003 to serve as an AmeriCorps volunteer in the Washington Reading Corps. During college, Amy worked at an extended day and school break program for elementary school students. She also has experience as an office and patient coordinator in various health care offices in Seattle. Before joining The Meridian School, Amy worked in the circulation
department at the Washington Talking Book and Braille Library, where she helped provide books to blind and visually impaired readers across Washington state. Amy is passionate about reading and literacy; she has earned a certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). In her spare time, Amy enjoys walking around the city, hanging out with her cats, and doing arts and crafts.
