Board Members
April Yu Sturgell
April Yu Sturgell is a parent of current first and fourth graders. This is her third year as a trustee and second as vice chair. Prior to joining the board, she served on the Development Committee. April has a background in people, technology, and operations and has spent most of her career in the technology industry. Most recently, she served as the COO of Splash, an international development organization with a mission to provide clean water for kids. In her spare time, April loves to cook and explore the beaches and parks in and around Seattle with her family.

Meridian is an independent school in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood serving 200 students in grades K-5. We are located in the historic Good Shepherd Center, a community building housing several nonprofit organizations, which lies adjacent to 6.5-acre Meridian Park.
