Deisi Fernandez

Deisi is a Seattle native, born and raised in Ballard, with ties to Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. She has spent the past 12 years working in customer service, four of those years at Central Co-op as the front-end assistant manager. Throughout her time in customer service, Deisi continued to work with children as a babysitter, camp counselor in New York, and most recently with St. Jude. Deisi loves to build relationships with students and their families at The Meridian School. She is overly excited to use her spreadsheet powers for good and to continue to learn from everyone in the Meridian community. In her free time Deisi enjoys running marathons for charity (she has 13 under her belt), and in the summer she enjoys reading in the sun, hiking with her husband, and traveling whenever she has the chance.

Meridian is an independent school in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood serving 200 students in grades K-5. We are located in the historic Good Shepherd Center, a community building housing several nonprofit organizations, which lies adjacent to 6.5-acre Meridian Park.
