Erika Mazza-Smith

Erika is a native Seattleite who became interested in education while attending Western Washington University in Bellingham. During her time in school, she co-led environmental education programs for middle and high school students. After college, Erika worked at Cascade Bike Club and Tilth Alliance as a camp educator, teaching cycling and gardening respectively. She has also taught learn-to-ride classes for Cascade, helping adults learn to ride bikes. In her free time, Erika loves to roller skate and draw comics. She would love to illustrate a children’s book and have her drawings in the New York Times someday.

Meridian is an independent school in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood serving 200 students in grades K-5. We are located in the historic Good Shepherd Center, a community building housing several nonprofit organizations, which lies adjacent to 6.5-acre Meridian Park.
