Hasum (he/they) joins the Meridian family from Kentucky, where they have experience teaching music in private studios, public schools, and the local community. Hasum has been participating in music programs since age 11, performing in concert band, marching band, choir, musical theater, and opera. Hasum is most passionate about learning diverse music and hopes to be an inspiration to future music educators. In the classroom, Hasum is committed to fostering a community of values and empowered individuals who continually grow in the perspective they find true and most authentic to themselves.
