Jen has over 12 years of experience as a third, fourth, and fifth grade lead teacher and leadership team representative at a K–6 elementary school in Colorado Springs, CO. For three years, Jen served as the representative for Catamount Institute’s Young Environmental Stewards Club, an award-winning, innovative science-based program designed for fourth and fifth graders. Jen organized environmental science, community service, technology, and leadership activities for their students in an after-school program for three years. They have also worked as a math tutor, summer camp lead teacher, and basketball coach. Jen enjoys sharing their love of geography, science, and service learning with Meridian students and families.

Meridian is an independent school in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood serving 200 students in grades K-5. We are located in the historic Good Shepherd Center, a community building housing several nonprofit organizations, which lies adjacent to 6.5-acre Meridian Park.
