Kristi Trainer

Kristi has called the beautiful Pacific Northwest home for over 25 years. She is a seasoned professional with decades of experience in administration, leadership, and non-profit operations. Her most recent role was as Event and Training Executive for Big Table, a non-profit dedicated to caring for restaurant and hospitality workers on the edge. Her passion is to steward her time, talents, and resources in a way that has a meaningful impact on the community. Kristi comes from a robust heritage of teachers; her grandmother, mother, mother-in-law, and daughter are all career elementary educators. She is excited to join The Meridian School team and looks forward to welcoming and serving all scholars, parents, and staff. In her free time, Kristi enjoys traveling (25 countries and counting), reading, wine tasting, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Meridian is an independent school in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood serving 200 students in grades K-5. We are located in the historic Good Shepherd Center, a community building housing several nonprofit organizations, which lies adjacent to 6.5-acre Meridian Park.
