Lauren Collette

Lauren moved to Seattle from Washington, D.C. in 2016. Before joining Meridian, Lauren was a consultant with nonprofit fundraising consulting firm Campbell & Company, where she applied best practices and innovative thinking across a range of nonprofit sectors and client circumstances. In Washington, D.C., Lauren spent five years fundraising at The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Throughout her experience, Lauren has learned that philanthropy is rooted in the love of mankind, and she enjoys building meaningful relationships with supporters and connecting them more deeply to an organization’s mission—the bedrock of fundraising.
A California native, Lauren enjoys spending her time outdoors in the sun when it’s shining. For the other months of the year, Lauren can be found exploring the Pacific Northwest, cooking good food, and staying active by rollerblading or practicing yoga.

Meridian is an independent school in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood serving 200 students in grades K-5. We are located in the historic Good Shepherd Center, a community building housing several nonprofit organizations, which lies adjacent to 6.5-acre Meridian Park.
