Maddie is joining the community at Meridian from the Giddens School in Seattle. With experience teaching third and fourth grade, as well as kindergarten and second grade, she prioritizes building a strong community of learners and integrating social-emotional learning into everyday classroom life. Maddie’s warm and creative approach creates a safe and inclusive environment where students feel seen and supported. Excited about the opportunity to make a positive impact, she is eager to collaborate with new educators and join the community at The Meridian School. Maddie recently moved to Everett, Washington with her fiancé, but prior to her move had lived in Seattle her whole life.

Meridian is an independent school in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood serving 200 students in grades K-5. We are located in the historic Good Shepherd Center, a community building housing several nonprofit organizations, which lies adjacent to 6.5-acre Meridian Park.
