Mark has been an artisan and craftsman his entire life, working professionally in sign painting, cabinetry, woodworking and stained glass, all the while pursuing his passion for painting. He also has a passion for the Good Shepherd Center, having worked in the building from 1989 to 2011, occupying, for the last twelve of those years, the position of Building and Facilities Manager. He is thrilled to be returning to this place that he loves in a different capacity, managing facilities and maintenance for Meridian School. He has been working part time for the past two and a half
years as a contractor, and is delighted to this year be joining the permanent staff. Mark is an avid bicyclist, and he and his wife are very active in Seattle’s dynamic social dance scene.
Meridian is an independent school in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood serving 200 students in grades K-5. We are located in the historic Good Shepherd Center, a community building housing several nonprofit organizations, which lies adjacent to 6.5-acre Meridian Park.
