Renee Perrine

Renee (she/her) is entering her fourth year as a full-time classroom teacher. She previously taught at schools for students with language-based learning differences and gifted learners. Renee is a fierce believer in working to develop the whole child, and she is looking forward to serving students of all capabilities at Meridian School. She has professional development training in Slingerland (a multi-sensory literacy approach), Words Their Way, Handwriting Without Tears, Reading and Writing Workshops, Upward Differentiation, Multi-Exceptional Learners, Culturally Responsive Teaching, and Social-Emotional Learning.
When Renee isn’t teaching, she can be found curling up with a good book, Zillowing, baking sweet treats, or exploring the PNW (and beyond!) with her family and friends.

Meridian is an independent school in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood serving 200 students in grades K-5. We are located in the historic Good Shepherd Center, a community building housing several nonprofit organizations, which lies adjacent to 6.5-acre Meridian Park.
