Fostering Community and Connection

The Family Association (F.A.) at The Meridian School is an all-volunteer group dedicated to promoting family involvement in the school community. By organizing educational programs, social events, and a variety of opportunities, the F.A. supports faculty, staff, and families, ensuring that every caregiver feels connected and valued.

Our goal is to cultivate and maintain a sense of belonging through diverse opportunities to engage with other families. This strong sense of community is one of the things that makes The Meridian School unique.

Family Association Events and Activities

The F.A. sponsors family-focused community events throughout the year, creating meaningful opportunities for families to connect. Some of our regular events and activities include:

  • Caregiver Coffees
  • Movie Days
  • Kraken Skate Days
  • Potlucks
  • Community Service Projects
  • Faculty & Staff Appreciation Week (in May)

In addition, the F.A. supports Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and specialist programs throughout the school.

How to Get Involved

There are many ways to get involved at Meridian! Whether through serving as a Grade Representative, helping with Staff Appreciation Week, or supporting event coordination, we welcome all caregivers to contribute their time and energy.
