“I have a hunch that the reasons you are considering The Meridian School as a place for your child to learn and grow may be the same reasons I chose to work here. 

First off, Meridian School is a place that enjoys children. Every adult is committed to knowing and appreciating every student for exactly who they are. We don’t have an expectation of who your child needs to be. Rather, we want them to explore new ideas and different relationships. We want them to understand and embrace their strengths. We want them to learn about themselves in relation to others.

Our intent is to nurture the development of self-aware, self-confident, and happy learners eager to take on new challenges in their school, their neighborhoods, their city, and beyond. We want Meridian students to become good thinkers, honest and engaged community members, and kind human beings.

Our work as a school community is not easy, but it is critical. As educators, we want to partner with you and your child, teaching and learning together. The foundation of who they will become as adults starts here and now. I very much hope you will come visit Meridian School, a fantastic place to be an elementary-age student.“
