Our Lower Elementary program is dedicated to nurturing confident, compassionate learners who are well-prepared to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. At this stage, students take significant steps toward independence and self-awareness, laying the foundational skills that enable them to think deeply, collaborate meaningfully, and approach the challenges of upper elementary with curiosity and confidence.

Upper Elementary at Meridian is a time of meaningful academic, social, and emotional growth. In grades 3 through 5, students build on the strong foundation laid in earlier years and begin to take ownership of their learning.

To enhance our core curriculum, students participate in seven specialist programs: science lab, music, art, health and fitness, library, Spanish, and creativity lab. These programs offer unique ways for students to explore the world through different disciplines, promoting creativity and critical thinking. Throughout the year, intentional projects and lessons integrate these academic areas, further enriching students' learning experiences.

Our Learning Specialists collaborate with classroom teachers to evaluate curricular assessments and analyze student progress.
