After teaching as a long-term substitute in Fifth Grade in 2024, Brett joined Meridian as a full-time Fifth Grade Lead Teacher in 2025. Hailing from eastern Washington, Brett has transitioned from farm life to academia, attending The Evergreen State College and earning his Master’s in Teaching from Seattle University. He has over twenty years of teaching experience in both public and private schools and brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to Meridian. Outside of the classroom, Brett enjoys exploring the great outdoors, cycling, playing soccer, and screenwriting
