Trisha (she/her) joined Meridian in 2023, drawn to the school’s mission of educating students’ minds and hearts. She gained an interest in education while serving as a Teaching Assistant for American Sign Language at the University of Nevada, Reno. After receiving a B.A. in English from UNR, she worked as a substitute teacher and the Advanced Photography teacher at an independent high school. When a position as a Communications Associate became available, Trisha was excited to transition into a role supporting the school’s administration. Trisha spent four years working on the Advancement teams of schools in Northern Nevada, where she gained a deep understanding of the communications, digital media marketing, and development needs of independent education. She is now happy to call Seattle home and is proud to be a member of The Meridian School community. When she is not photographing school events during the weekdays, she is often photographing local dance companies, theatre performances, and concerts on the weekends.
