Ms. Bibi (aka Bibiana) Powell is from Seattle and has been an educator for over 20 years, including 16 years at Seattle Jewish Community School as Art Specialist and Teaching Assistant. Bibi has a B.A. in Fine Arts/Humanities from Seattle University, an AA in Graphic Design from Seattle Central, and an M.A.T. from Seattle Pacific University. Being part of a community of learners is what brings joy and fulfillment to her life, and Meridian is a wonderful place to be. This is her third year at Meridian in the classroom as an Associate Teacher. She believes students learn best when they feel seen and heard and are agents of their own learning experiences. In her spare time, Ms. Bibi is a passionate wildlife gardener, an avid hiker, and an artist who enjoys exploring many media (currently focused on ceramics).
