Yaneth has been with The Meridian School since 2000! She holds a B.A. in Communications from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá, Colombia, and an M.A. in Human Resources Management from Universidad de Los Andes, Bogotá, Colombia. She also has a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. Yaneth has in-depth experience in human resources and communications, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion affairs, with a focus on strategic planning and program development. Throughout the years, Yaneth has attended and helped to plan several local and national conferences on equity, inclusion, and social justice in education. She is an active participant on several school committees and networks with diversity practitioners from other independent schools and local organizations. Yaneth loves working on community engagement in learning and taking action toward social justice. Her belief in education and the human capacity to influence social systems drives her work and commitment to equity and inclusion. Yaneth works in collaboration with all schools’ constituencies to offer programs and experiences that increase awareness of equity and inclusion and inspire positive personal and systemic change.
